Excellent performance that boosted up my mac mini (initially had 2GB of RAM). Before purchasing I was wondering if there is going to be any significant difference since I was only planning to update the RAM. Oh my, it really runs so fast! I use heavy (2D mostly) software like photoshop, illustrator, Premiere etc. Before the install I had to quit illustrator if I was to use photoshop. Now I can run chrome with 30 opened tabs, mail, photoshop, blender, illustrator, itunes, all of them simultaneously and my mac doesn't seem to bother at all.

Installation was super easy, took me more to watch the video than actually do the upgrade (3 mins basically), then switched on and my mac was flying! I Totally recommend it.

My iMac had been operating perfectly, no matter how many programs I had open. I replaced the existing ram with the upgrade, moving the existing apple ram to what where then the two empty slots. Immediately the iMac began crashing, regardless of what program's were open or how many were open. I swapped the slots the upgrade chips and existing chips were in (so the upgrades are now in what were the 2 originally empty slots. The iMac still crashes but less frequently than when the chips were the other way round. Whilst there is a noticeable performance speed increase, the system now seems fragile and the risk of lost work eg when editing movies is much greater.

I will persevere for a little while longer, but most probably remove the upgrade and ask for my money back.
